Getting there and around
Metro L1 or L3 to Espanya and you are at the door; from the airport, about 20 minutes by taxi or the Aerobús to Plaça d’Espanya. The venue is walked on foot; comfortable shoes are mandatory. To drop down to Port Vell after closing: taxi (10 minutes) or the D20/120 along Paral·lel.
Where to stay
The Plaça d’Espanya–Paral·lel–Poble-sec axis is the festival’s natural zone: close to the venue and packed with nightlife. The seafaring alternative is Barceloneta and Port Vell: you sleep by the water, ten minutes from the festival and zero from your boat. If your plan includes sailing — and it should — the second option saves you taxis and logistical hangover.
Weather and what to bring
